SPECIAL EVENTS
|
We've got some great events planned for you this weekend:
- Clerking School — Will be conducted at the show hall
Friday, October 13th from 6pm-8pm. Pre-registration required! The
clerking school will provide the basics of ring clerking: the role and
duties of the ring clerk, a review of TICA colors, divisions and breeds,
a review of Show Rules procedures, show mechanics, ring protocol, and
clerking mechanics. If there's time, we will review TICA’s clerking
program and its requirements.
- Cage Decorating & Cat Costume Contests — Yep! We're
doing our annual Halloween contests. Cat costume contest Saturday at
noon; cage decorating contest judged by visitors, awarded on Sunday.
- New Exhibitor Orientation — Will be conducted on
Saturday at 9:30am.
- Junior Ring — Junior Exhibitor
judging will take place on Saturday during the lunch break, just before
afternoon judging. JE's who are currently in TICA's JE program are
eligible to receive the special JE entry rate. Each JE entry includes a
regular show entry and double cage.
- Raffle — We'll have a great raffle, with a wide variety of
cat-related items (and other stuff that's just plain useful - or just plain
fun). Raffle tickets are less expensive when purchased in advance; you can
order yours via the Summary Sheet. (Please note that you cannot pay for
your raffle tickets via PayPal, due to their anti-gaming regulations; if you pay for your entries using
PayPal, please pay separately for your
raffle tickets by credit card, check or money order.)
